We are looking for a "Application Support Specialist" for our client.

  • Bachelor degree in computer sciences or related other fields
  • Knowledge of computer and database technologies like Linux, Windows, Oracle
  • Knowledge of SQL for database platforms Oracle and / or Microsoft SQL
  • Working knowledge of one or more application servers (WebLogic, JBoss, IBM Websphere, etc)
  • Good understanding of IT service management practices (ITIL v3/v4)
  • 2-5 years of work experience in IT infrastructure utilizing Windows Server and Linux OS
  • Certification on one or more of the above items is preferable
  • Excellent communication skills, writing and speaking, in the Turkish and the English language
  • Analyzing & reporting of system performance and undefined behavior and phenomena of the system as well as functional reports and specific flow situations
  • Identifing problems and performing Root Cause Analysis in close collaboration with other IT organizational groups
  • Executing the lifecycle of open tickets, proper reporting between shifts, and communicating with the stakeholders
  • Continuously monitoring the customer’s IT infrastructure, application and material handling application environment for expected SLA’s
  • Maintaining and supporting the IT Patch Management (OS, DB, Application, etc.) and Incident Management processes
  • Monitoring shift reports and raising problem items when required
  • Analyzing and filtering events that are potential incidents
  • Working on priority 1 and 2 incidents when escalated, resolving them within SLA
